History

Finestone was founded in 1962 to produce aggregated finishes, and for more than 15 years it has been a reliable name in the EIFS industry.

Finestone is part of BASF Wall Systems, Inc. BASF is the world’s largest chemical company employing more than 81,000 worldwide. In North America, the Construction Chemicals Division is comprised of such well-known brands as Thoro/Thorocrete, Hydrozo, Selby/Ucrete, Sonneborn, Master Builders and Watson Bowman.

With the resources of BASF, the Finestone line continues to expand its systems and product lines to include innovations like Finescreen cement board stucco and Finestop-RA, a roller-applied weather barrier.
