| Uses |
|
Finestone Stucco CI Wall System is a continuously insulated, water-drainage
stucco system that includes a water-resistive barrier to protect the substrate.
The system offers design flexibility, aesthetic appeal and energy savings.
Integrated system components include mechanical fasteners, a water-resistive
barrier, means of drainage, an XPS (extruded polystyrene) insulation board,
base coat, reinforcing mesh, 100% acrylic polymer finish and other accessory components as described in the system specification and technical bulletins.
Apply the system over acceptable substrates:
• Exposure I or exterior plywood sheathing (Grade C-D or better),
Exposure I OSB.
• PermaBase™cement-board by National Gypsum and other ASTM C1325 Type A Exterior cement boards.
• ASTM C1177 type sheathings, including DensGlass™exterior sheathing,
e²XP™sheathing, GlasRoc® sheathing, Securock™glass mat sheathing; Weather Defense™Platinum sheathing and GreenGlass® sheathing.
• Gypsum sheathing (ASTM C79/ASTM C1396).
• Concrete and unit masonry.
The Finestone Stucco CI Wall System is based upon the time tested Finestone Impact-R Wall System design that has passed rigorous tests including Full-Scale Fire,
Wind-Load,Wind-Driven Rain, Abrasion Resistance and Moisture Drainage.
Finishes are available in a limitless color selection and offer performance
enhancement options, including increased resistance to dirt pick-up and
mildew.
