WS FLASH is a patented, 30-mil thick, self-sealing, self-healing composite membrane of polyester fabric and rubberized asphalt.
WS FLASH is compatible with Finestone Base Coats and Finestop.
WS FLASH is supplied in rolls, on release paper, for easy application.

| Uses |
| WS FLASH is used as a combination air and weather barrier and/or flashing at sills, rough openings, deck framing, etc. |
| It is also used as an air/weather barrier over primed, approved sheathing joints. Finestone Base Coats and FINESTOP can be directly applied to the polyester fabric side of the WS FLASH membrane. |
| It is also used as an expansion joint seal over FINESTOP |
With the FLASHING PRIMER, it is used over the following acceptable substrates: (Wood framing Note: Do not apply WS FLASH on wood that has been treated in any way.)

ASTM C1177 type sheathings, including DensGlass™ exterior sheathing, e2XP™ sheathing, GlasRoc® sheathing, Securock™ glass-mat sheathing, Weather Defense™ Platinum sheathing, GreenGlass® sheathing
- Water-resistant core gypsum sheathing (ASTM C79/ASTM C1396)
- Cement-board (ASTM C1325 Type A Exterior)
- Masonry
- Exposure 1 or exterior plywood sheathing
- Exposure 1 OSB
