| Uses |
| FLASHING PRIMER is used to prepare acceptable substrates prior to the application of FLASHING TAPE FF and FLASHING TAPE. |
The following substrates must be primed with FLASHING PRIMER prior to receiving FLASHING TAPE FF and FLASHING TAPE:
(Wood framing Note: Do not apply FLASHING TAPE FF on wood that has been treated in any way)
- PermaBase™ brand cement board (or other ASTM C1325 Type A Exterior approved cement boards)
- Poured concrete/unit masonry
- ASTM C1177 type sheathings, including e²XP™, GlasRoc®, DensGlass™, Securock™, Weather Defense™ Platinum and GreenGlass® sheathing
- Gypsum sheathing (ASTM C79/C1396)
- Untreated Exposure 1 or exterior plywood sheathing (Grade C-D or better)
- Untreated Exposure 1 OSB
